There are six amazing and incredibly generous bands who are donating their time and their talent to help raise money to go towards our Appeal in our ongoing fight with the City of Richmond.

Why are we having a Fundraiser??

We are embroiled in a fight with the Richmond City Council who are trying to kick us and other Port businesses out.

The Richmond City Council and Mayor Martinez continue to spout half truths and outright lies. We are in a fight for our very livelihood, and to keep this cherished Richmond asset alive. We are raising money to fund our Appeal.

This Appeal is to fight the Unlawful Detainer that the city prevailed against us. 

The City Council threw all but the kitchen sink at us in the unlawful detainer they filed against us. We are appealing that decision as they won on technicalities that can easily be proven to be unfair and non-compliable.

Understanding the nature of Unlawful Detainers…

By nature, unlawful detainers are cut and dry, yes or no court proceedings. They leave no room for explanations as to why we could not comply with their allegations. If we had been able to enter explanations into evidence, the city likely would not have won. The Appeal will allow full explanations and evidence. Our legal team feels very optimistic about our chances of winning. But we need your help!!
